Management of manual workstations

This feature allows to digitally manage manual workstations (assembly, welding, painting, quality control, manual cutting or drilling machines, bending, etc.).

An Android mobile application is available on smartphone or tablet, as well as a PC version.

Dematerialization of work orders

It saves you time as you do not have to go to each station to distribute steel fabrication jobs. It also prevents you from using unnecessary paper works.

3D visualization of parts, bars and assemblies

This feature help to visualize what has to be done. It is particularly useful
for beginners of your company.

Document management

Display of PDF, assembly sheets, photos, excel files, docs with instructions, etc.

Recording of times

For production monitoring and analysis purposes, times can be collected from manual workstations. A stopwatch can be used or times can be input manually. Those times can relate to the following:

• Production (including breaks) of secondary parts, assemblies, bars or batches
• Operations (cleaning, maintenance, etc.). Times are then allocated to project(s)
• Management of site and workstation presence. Times are assigned to operators

Input of traceability information by part or project

Traceability information can be entered in the application. Those can be traceability ID (cast numbers), welding wires used for an assembly or paint barrels for a batch for example. They will be useful to enhance traceability reports.

Ergonomics (for the mobile version)

• Simplified ergonomics for a quick introduction to the application
• Possibility to use barcode or QR code scanning systems. This allows to facilitate the input for the operator as they do not need to type directly on the screen to enter data
• Multiple possibilities for connection: Wi-Fi, offline mode, 4G/5G

Live messaging system integrated

The messaging system allows to send instructions to operators such as priorities for production for example. Besides, it helps to better manage non-conformities or revisions thanks to the flexibility offered by such a system. Indeed, operators can be more reactive when facing situations requiring their manager’s approval.

Configuration of user rights

In order to control what can be done by each of your worker, you can configure their user rights in the application. This is also useful for traceability management.

Real-time data exchange with the Steel Projects PLM database

Data are sent automatically and live so you can see what is currently going on in the shop floor.
